Terms of Service
What we expect from you—and what you can expect from us.
Effective date: July 2026
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, signing in, or using InContacts, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
InContacts is a professional and local networking service that helps you connect with people you may already know—or friends-of-friends—to discover jobs, services, skills, and real-world opportunities. These terms describe what we expect from you and what you can expect from us while using the service.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. You must provide a valid phone number for verification and keep your profile information accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You may only maintain one account per phone number unless we explicitly allow otherwise. You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, offerings, or connection to others on the network.
Your account
You are responsible for activity that happens through your account, including inquiries you post, interest you express, jobs you create, ratings you submit, and communications you initiate.
Keep your sign-in session secure. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, sign out and contact support at
You may update your profile, offerings, and optional profile photo at any time. Some features require a profile photo or completed onboarding before you can use them.
Acceptable use
Use InContacts respectfully and lawfully. You must not harass, threaten, defame, spam, or attempt to deceive other users.
Do not use the app to solicit unrelated commercial activity, scrape or bulk-harvest user data, or circumvent safety features such as interest, reject, block, or communication gates.
Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer protected server data—for example, by trying to reconstruct another user’s exact location from distance hints.
InContacts prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Our full Child Safety Standards—including how we remove content, ban accounts, and report to authorities—are published at https://incontacts.app/child-safety.
We may review reports of misuse and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users or the service.
Contacts and location
Contact sync happens only after you grant permission and confirm sync. Contacts are used to map your network on the server so the app can show who you may already know and how you are connected. Phone numbers are handled in a privacy-conscious way—hashed for matching where appropriate—and we do not spam your friends on your behalf.
You may see minimal placeholders for people in your address book who have not joined yet. When they join, identities may merge so your network graph stays stable.
Location helps sort search results and match inquiries to people nearby on the server. The app does not expose your raw coordinates to other users—only derived hints such as distance in kilometers. You should grant location permission when features need geo-based discovery; denied location limits those features.
Each contact sync records a consent version tied to the policy copy you saw. That version may be updated when policy text changes.
Content and media
You are responsible for the inquiries, jobs, messages you initiate, and media you upload. Content should be accurate, relevant, and respectful.
Inquiries are short-lived posts with a category, description, optional details, optional photos, a rough area, and an expiry time. Jobs are lightweight records between two people after they have actually contacted each other.
Media limits for inquiries and jobs in the current app version: up to three images per post, five megabytes each, in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
We may remove content or restrict features if content violates these terms or applicable law.
Jobs and ratings
A Job records a real interaction between two people. Creating a Job or participating in ratings generally requires that a call or message was initiated through the app first. This communication gate reduces drive-by defamation and keeps reputation tied to people you actually reached out to.
Ratings are tied to a specific Job, not loose public profile reviews. The job creator may request a review; the other person may submit a star rating and optional message after that request. To reduce spam and revenge cycles, you generally cannot submit more than one rating in the same direction for the same pair within three months.
Interested, reject, block, and withdraw actions on inquiries exist to manage contact safely. Use them honestly and do not abuse them to harass others.
Privacy and your data
We aim to collect only what we need to operate the service. Phone numbers, contact data, location, profile information, inquiries, jobs, communication history metadata, and ratings are processed to provide discovery, trust, and safety features described in these terms and in our user-facing policy materials.
We do not expose your private contact list or exact location to other users. Communication history records that a call or message was initiated—not the content of chats handled outside the app.
You should be able to request deletion of your account and associated data—including communication history, jobs, and network links—and to export a copy of your data. Exact self-service flows may vary by app version; if you need help, contact support at
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will make updated copy available in the app and on this website. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
You may stop using InContacts at any time by signing out and, if available, requesting account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if we must do so to comply with law, or if we discontinue the service.
Some provisions that by their nature should survive termination—such as acceptable-use restrictions, disclaimers, and limitations where permitted by law—will continue to apply.
